We are passionate about improving outcomes for injured workers, and we’re looking for an experienced Field Case Manager (RN) to support clients throughout the Greensboro / Winston-Salem region. About the Role
As a Field Case Manager, you will coordinate and facilitate medical care for injured workers within the workers’ compensation system. You’ll use your clinical expertise, independent judgment, and advocacy skills to guide recovery, manage complex cases, and influence positive return-to-work outcomes—while building strong relationships with providers, employers, and claims professionals.
This is a field-based position requiring travel to medical appointments, employer sites, and stakeholder meetings throughout the local territory.
What You’ll Do
Independently assess injured workers and develop coordinated treatment plans with medical providers
Serve as a liaison between injured workers, physicians, therapists, employers, and insurance representatives
Attend and coordinate medical appointments to ensure continuity of care
Interpret medical recommendations and clearly communicate treatment plans to all stakeholders
Collaborate with employers to recommend job modifications and return-to-work strategies
Advocate for injured workers while balancing cost-effective, outcome-driven care
Exercise independent clinical judgment in managing evolving and complex cases
Prepare detailed monthly case reports and maintain accurate documentation
Stay current on workers’ compensation regulations and case management best practices
Participate in account meetings, in-services, and industry events as needed
What We’re Looking For
Required:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Prior experience in case management (workers’ compensation or occupational health strongly preferred)
Strong clinical assessment skills and medical terminology knowledge
Ability to work independently and manage a field-based caseload
Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
Preferred:
Certified Case Manager (CCM) certification
Experience in hospital, rehabilitation, or occupational health settings
Multilingual skills (a plus, not required)
